I apologize for taking so long to get this blog up! Sometimes I have to have time to think of new things. If you ever have suggestions please leave comments and I will probably use it! The one thing I have been thinking about is how little changes make the biggest changes. I talk to people all the time who are looking for big changes in the shortest amount of time. I think I've touched a little bit on this in previous blogs. I want to dive into a little more though. We have all heard that saying time is money. This is true, we can never have enough time. We can never have enough money. All the new technology that comes out is so we can shorten our time on one thing, so we can have more time to other things. How awesome would it be if I told you I would come do everything around your house for you everyday?! How much time would that save you and how much more things could you do? It would be wonderful! After awhile though things would change. I would stop doing it and then when you had to go back to doing it your self life would seem like chaos! We do this with habits. We want these habits to change our lives forever, but we do it so fast and as soon as life comes back to where we started we realize we probably did more damage or just lost more motivation to make the change. We are so use to thinking big. Doesn't matter if physically it's big it just has to seem big in our minds. We live the way of Texas everything bigger. People want to be, have and gain bigger things. We have to realize that our challenges, the bad habits, and things you hate are things which have developed over the course of your lifetime. Why do we expect to fix those problems in such a short time? Sometimes it's about taking small steps in the right direction in order to fix the years of going in the wrong direction. We never realize how much the little things change us in such a big way. Think about walking on a path you know this path is going to get you to your favorite place on earth. Now let's say you get distracted and start walking off the path towards something you think is important at the time. Then you realize you've gone astray, and walked so far away from the path that it's just exhausting thinking about the travel back to the path. The only way back is my making the small steps back towards the path. This may be a far fetched analogy, but we all know we've done this in one aspect of our lives. If we really want to create a new lifestyle change in our lives we have to make the small and simple steps first to create that lifestyle. Start small make those changes, don't look for the easy way out, because no reward is worth being easy.
